Import labels made digital for the first time
25 January 2024
The UK Government has brought forward new laws to introduce digital labelling for British businesses.
Digital labelling will allow businesses to put important regulatory or manufacturing information online rather than requiring them to physically print it on their products.
Recognition of CE marking continues for products such as toys and machinery.
The full details can be read in this press release on GOV.UK, including a list of the regulations in scope and not in scope of this announcement.
